Theater has always played a major role in Bianca's life. Although she didn't even step onto the stage until she was 18, during her Theater Artist program at RijnIJssel College in Arnhem, little Bianca was always busy creating plays, dances, writing stories, drawing, painting, and creating her own worlds.

Besides creating her own theatrical performances, she also teaches theater to children and young people. Commissioned by the Boogie Woogie Foundation, she works on a sustainable theater curriculum for all children in Winterswijk, both in primary and secondary schools. Besides her work in schools, she also works at various after-school care centers and teaches theater at Boogie Woogie.

Bianca Lurvink is a Theatermaker and makes installations/performances in which the audience plays an important role.

Bianca likes to play with expectations: alienating reality by making her own addition or magnifying the strangeness of reality.

The proces of making a new work or collaboration with an other artist or organization starts with an image/question/thought that often concerns the position of people: both intrinsic and extrinsic. Whether her work is an installation, performance, walking route or audio tour: Bianca wants to touch her audience, right in that spot behind your breastbone.

In 2016, she graduated at the Secondary Vocational School of Performing Arts at RijnIJssel College in Arnhem.

In 2020 she graduated at the University of Arts in Utrecht (HKU) at the study Interactive Performance Design (IPD)

In 2025 Bianca graduated at the Toneelacademie Maastricht at the Post academic teacher training course for professionals.

In 2023 Bianca was Junior Directeur Educatie at Museum Villa Mondriaan in Winterswijk.

Scenography work, theater design, installations and interaction design, were shown at Bring Your Own Beamer Festival in the Netherlands and Belgium, Betweter Festival in Tivoli Utrecht, Festival 2 Turven Hoog, Theater Festival Vuurol, Hoogte 80 Festival, Theater 't Hof Arnhem, AMZAF Young Talent Festival, Carolina Festival, Visual Theater Festival Worteldagen, Ars Electronica Festival in Austria, Stichting Sites of Memory, RAN festival, MAKE SPACE HKU 2020, Theater Kikker, Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Over het IJ festival, Stichting Constant, Le Guess Who?, Floriade, Rijn IJssel College, Doopsgezinde Kerk Winterswijk, Boogie Woogie.
