SÜNDER
SÜNDER (15+)
Secretly eating 4 bags of chips on your own. Watching videos on TikTok on your phone until late at night (at least for a while). Being extremely jealous that the other person was accepted to the acting course and therefore lets their bicycle tire go flat. Because you only want it for yourself. No longer being shocked by the number of deaths in the news, but worrying about your fitness before you leave the house.
In the theater performance SÜNDER, the audience is taken into the world of sinning: Vanity, greed, lust, jealousy, gluttony, anger and laziness. We are all a sinner, a sünder. We may even commit it every day. We investigate the pleasure and shame surrounding the seven deadly sins. What would happen if we gave in to the shame and pleasure? Do we still sin then? In the beautiful setting of the Mennonite church in Winterswijk, the audience is immersed in a theatrical mix of visual arts, theatre, music, video and movement.
